The game was made over the course of a year in my free time. I wrote a small GDD, invented, drew and modeled the characters.
“The Adventures of a Bee” was conceived and made especially for children. Bright graphics. Without violence (insects are put to sleep). Simple and easy.
As a result, I did all the graphics (sound), and Mikhail Romanovsky was responsible for programming.
Mikhail's own engine (C++, DirectX).
It was interesting to try my hand at developing graphics for an entire (albeit small) project.
Something bad happened. The hurricane destroyed the hive.
All the bees are busy rebuilding the house, but without honey they cannot survive and they chose the bravest and fastest bees to collect honey.
You are one of these bees!
Pollinate the gray flowers, restore their color and collect the honey capsules above them.
Collect extra honey from sunflowers, apples and strawberries.
The more honey you collect, the faster the hive will be restored. After finishing the next level, you will be able to see how much the hive has been restored and how much honey you have collected.
Pollen shooters are used to pollinate flowers.
Just shoot the gray flowers and they will be pollinated, but that's not all. The more honey you collect, the more powerful pollen throwers are developed in the hive. And you can pollinate flowers in one shot!
After finishing the next level, you will be able to see at what stage the development of the next powerful pollen thrower is.
The pollen in the main pollen thrower (in the hand of the bee on the left) is endless, and for the additional pollen thrower (in the hand of the bee on the right) you must collect special bonuses. These bonuses are located above some mushrooms.
Various insects will interfere with your honey collection, trying to infect you with poisonous pollen. If hit, you lose a small portion of the collected honey. The more often you are hit, the less honey you will bring to the hive. Be careful!
Honey is also lost when colliding with aggressive insects, poisonous mushrooms, plants and cobwebs.
Some of the insects can destroy flowers! A destroyed flower does not produce honey.
Use a pollen blower against aggressive insects and poisonous plants! After several hits, the insects will fall asleep or fly away in fear, and the plants will be destroyed and will not harm you.
Some insects, after they fall asleep, release pollen for an additional pollen sweep. Don't forget to collect it!
For special achievements in the game you will receive gold medals: “Sharp Shooter”, “Super Honey Collector” and “Super Pollinator”.
Forward! For honey!
